i'm wondering if 2.0l manual transmission Gears, can fit in a f23 2005 cavalier manual transmission??? i REALLY NEED longuer gears because i ran a turbocharged car and i want longuer gear to put power on the floor without shifter every second! ( no i wont swap an auto tranny) so please will the gears of a ss cobalt 2.0sc will fit on my cavalier tranny 2005

If your talking about the 2.0 charged trans, won't work at all. They have a saab trans. Completely different.
not to mention it would still be a F23 if the parts were swapable

I thought the F23 trans was supposed to be pretty strong, are they weak kneed and what can be or needs to be upgraded?
F23 is weak and F35 is weaker.
SO far I have found the syncos and diff to be the weak parts.
Get a new ring gear or bigger tires. If you do a little search you can find the other ring gears that will fit perfectly and alter your gearing either shorter or taller.
