I am 95 % done and I cant seem to get the passenger axel in. This is a 99 sunfire gt, 5 speed. I have it in the transmission, but when I pour fluid in, the fluid just comes right out. I know how to get them out, slide hammer, but I cant seem to get this one back in. I remember that it was a pain in the ass to get out. Any ideas. I only have to go in about 1/2".

There should be a notch on the axle near the transmission, on the metal case. Turn that so it faces down. Now take a thick screw driver and a hammer, put the screwdriver on the lip and pound it in.

Some axles go easy, some are hard. Mine went in the last time almost too easy...
