i have a 2000 cav 4 speed auto trans problem, it will shift fine in all gears but it wont go past like 35 40 mph. is there a sensor that went bad? i dont know much about the auto's. if there is a sensor, can someone tell me what it is so i can maybe replace it. any help would be appreciated, thx.
Does the RPM go very high and car wont go over 40? or the car wont go above 35-40 but stay within normal rpm?
if not its your Catalytic converter gone bad man not a huge deal
i dont have a rpm gauge, but it just seems like it wont shift higher then drive, its like the overdrive is out, i took it down the road a lil bit ago and it went like 45 just seemed like it wasnt in overdrive, and the engine was reving up kinda, i dont know what it is, im lost.
