hi there,
i just changed out the engine in my 99 2200 ohv (with a new 2200 ohv)
upon start up, the engine threw codes, and the MIL, ETS and brake lights came on.
P0753 1-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
P0758 2-3 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
P1860 TCC PWM Solenoid Circuit Electrical
car is stuck in emergency gear, the check engine, brake and ABS lights are on.
i was told it was the torque converter/flexplate alignment was out. rotated the engine through all three positions. no results.
having read through the other forums, i went back and checked the ERLS fuse. it was blown.
replaced the fuse, but the engine is still throwing the same codes. i have moved the flexplate/torque alignment through each of the three possible positions and cleared the codes each time, only to have it reappear after reconnecting the battery and starting her up....
any/all info is greatly appreciated. i posted yesterday in an old topicd with no responses. i am hoping that a new topic will generate more attention and responses.
You probably pinched wires between the motor and tranny and they are shorting out, there is a reason you blew a fuse.
Another person talking about flexpate and torque converter alignment. Whats the deal? In all the A/T trannys i have worked on nothing was ever brought up about aligning them. Even when i was studing A/T in school. As long as all the bolts are in and the TQ is engauged with the pump then your fine.
Look for damaged wires.

Mine were actually cut when I was getting those codes in February.
Exactly! Check the wires, with a blown fuse and all kinds of lights on you got some wire issues.
