I know the Getrag can handel more power then i'll ever make but is there anything you can do to it to make it better? Like i know theres is the LSD insert and soild mounts, witch i already have, but something like switching gears to lower the gear ratio and help the can accelarate faster. i read somewhere about some guy using a bigger dif from a Geo storm? Whats that about? Any help anything at all?
I believe the geo trick wasn't from a storm, but in an izuzu not getrag.

our gearing isn't really that bad, and the getrags are pretty strong
I wouldn't touch any gears. My buddy is running 350hp+ on a daily driven Getrag. He added a Team Green LSD,and a spec stage 3+ clutch.
cool thats what i wanted to hear. How about a better syncros? All the rebuild kits i've found for the Muncie/Getrag come without Syncros.
leave it alone dude, add a clutch and your good, add an LSD and your set.
well i rather replace the syncros now while its out then have one go on me after i install everything.

Supposedly the final drive unit from a Vue is 4:10 or 4:11 to one. I am not sure of that though.

my isuzu's 3rd gear synchro is going out (it still stays in gear, but I have to shift sloooowly into 3rd)
I am making 350 hp but I amalso making almost 500 ftlb and the getrag is still holding up but I dont have my team green lsd in yet so hopefully it will help I am going for 450 hp and 600 tq this year. Crossing my fingers for the getrag F23.
