just installed a short ram intake onto my 04 sunfire (auto tranny) 80,000km. first time driving it after install i noticed it was shifting very hard into all gears, even reverse (never happened before. you can feel and hear a sensation. it feels like its coming from the tranny. there is no dipstick in tranny fluid resevoir, so i cant check it at the moment, but it does look dry. im guessing there should be no corelation between an intake system and tranny problems, but it seems to coincidental that this problem showed up immediatley after the install. i dont drive the car hard. Does anyone have any advice to offer, im taking the car in first thing in the morning to check tranny fluid levels.
nope, the sensor is in, and the two other vacum hoses are in there, and sealed fairly well
problem stoped all of a sudden, check engine light turned off, i think the computer just needed to make a few adjustments to itself
