My clutch went straight to the ground today and didn't come back up. Restarted the car, put it in first and before releasing the clutch, the car tries to go. I'm thinking it's the slave cylinder from what I have researched. Will this be a reoccuring problem with this hydraulic clutch that the newer cavaliers have?
It's actually the clutch actuator. Happened on my 05 cavalier. GM has released a tech notice about it. Take it back to the dealer and you should get it replaced free.
