Finished Clutch/Slippage

How do you know when your clutch is about to go? What are the basic symptoms? I'm just really curious to know. I'm still knew at all this.

Put the car in 3rd gear, if it doesnt kill the car right away, the clutch is slipping and you need to replace it.

You will either feel it slip or grab.

Actually no.

The way I use to test cars clutchs i this. Find a steep hill, put the car in the highest gear it will go without bogging down, than go up the hill. Watch the RPMs closey, this test the clutchs max holding power.

Also popping out of gear, stuck in gear, wont go in any gear are all signs of a bad clutch.
