what year did the cavalier start using the getrag trans. after 1998? please help.

2000-2005 model years, 5 speed cars all used the "Getrag" transmission (F23), regardless of engine. The bellhousing and gearing is different between 2.2L, 2.4L, and 2200 engines, and is not easily interchangeable.
