ok i was looking into shift kits and i found a B&M one but it wont work for my transmission because i have 1 2 n d r p and then i found the autotransinterceptor and was curious if anyone knows it it will work with my tranny?? and if it does im looking to buy one and i will pay a decent price too.

lol, you have the 3-T40 3 speed auto transmission. the autotrans interceptor is designed for the 4-T40-E 4 speed electronic transmissions.

these products, the autotrans and the b+m unit, are transmission hacks. the add electrical resistance to the tranmission input and increase the line pressure.

unfortunatly, yours is not an electronic transmission, therefor, electrical resistance can not be added. i do believe some companys make shift kits for the 3T40, but it is a mechanical shift kits and requires you to pull out the guts of the tranny and install the new ones.
