Ok, I have been searching for hours and not sure if I have found what I need to know yet. I just purchased this 97 sunfire gt, automatic, so I don't know if there has been anything done to the transmission. I had to put a different motor in it. Anyway, it almost seems to me like it is slipping. I could be running 55 or 60 or something like that and then all of a sudden it sort of jerks or feels like it is slipping. I noticed the rpm's go up every now and then when it does this. A few weeks ago the (ETS) light came on and the check engine light shortly after it. Does anyone know what this could possible be?
