i found a tranny to do my swap with.. its out of a 5 speed 2000 sunfire gt, i will be putting it in my 96 auto Z.. a buddy of mine said i will have to change all the wiring inside the car, and the gauge cluster or else it wont start.. im just wondering if this is true, thanx..
no, its not true. To get it to start, you need to splice the thick purple wire to the thick yellow wire at the PRNDL switch on the trans. You also need to flash your computer to a 5 speed.
