Ok, so I raced a Nissan Sentra SE-R tonite and I had the guy through 1st and 2nd, but once I hit 3rd he was gone. I really want to get some new gears that could possibly be a little higher, but I don't know anything about trannys.

What do you have done to the car? Do not see no reason for swapping gears. You have a Z24?? Sounds as it was just a faster car.



FU Tuning

Yes, I have a Z24. It was a faster car, but I think that if even just 3rd gear was changed to be a little shorter allowing me to accelerate a little faster I could have taken him in the 1/4 mile. This was just a thought and all I have is basic bolt-ons. I have a LO intake mani and a 2.3 t/b but they aren't on the car yet. I have them sitting and I just need to do a little more work.
