trans cooler Q's

ive had my haynes cooler on all summer, guess it worked good, dont have a trans temp gauge yet, anyways first time driving my car on the highway in really cold weather 2day, well it was acting really weird, like i would have it on cruise and it would shift down and then up and then down then really fast back up, couldnt get it, never had any problems ever with my trans till this morning, first cold drive down the highway and that happens, am i safe to drive with this in the cold weather? or should i park it early,

as well as i dont have it inline with the stock cooler, not using that one nemore

yeah its overdrive kicking in, but it should jus be staying at the same revs then dropping, then it stays, this time it went back up and down up and down, never done that before

Go ahead and plumb the return line into your stock cooler. This will warm the fluid once the engine is warmed up and the tranny should start working better. During the warm weather, you shouldn't notice a very big change in the cooling capacity.
