well, my auto tranny has been exceptionally crappy lately. it just feels like its about to die. much longer shifts now then it used to be, crappy response, just overall not good. bigger rims this year, alot of weight with the air and extra wood from all my new interior stuff has a bunch to do with it im sure. so ive been wanting to do a manual swap for a while, and i think im going to attempt it this winter before my tranny goes on its own(if it dosent before winter, lol). basically, my question is....what all will i need to do a manual swap from auto on my 03 ecotec? ive read a ton of posts about swaps, but none that i found referred to the ecotec 4t40e, so thats why im making a new post.
sorry if its been covered, any info or links you can provide to posts i missed is much appreciated.
ps - dont tell me its not worth it, and to go buy a stock manual cav cus it just aint gonna happen.
