When I first start my car the shifter feels slow and it's hard to get into the gears. After a few minutes of shifting (forcefully) it seems to work fine...until the next day.

sorry I have another question....

Is it okay to leave the car in gear when parked? My ebrake doesn't seem to hold on steep hills very well so I leave it in gear so it doesn't roll back.
