Hello, basically I have been trying to find a part for my transmission, and I own a 98' Cavalier which is a Manual trans. I believe the part is called a Planitary gear unit? well i have looked all over and have had no luck, and i think the reason is that it more than likely is a dealer part and they want me to go to them to have it installed but i can do it myself if i just find the part.....n e one that could help me out with this it would be much appreciated...maybe a number to a shop or i dunno im kinda out of options. thanks

if not, go to the site and click on "catalog" and make sure your under the mechanical section and NOT the collision section

Correct me if im wrong, you have a manual transmission and you are trying to get a part for an automatic? Are you wanting a differential gear unit?
