Any major difference between the 4 speed auto transmissions? Say I have a 97, can I replace it with a 99 without modification?

Thanks

Great, I just bought another Sunfire, this one auto (will be winter car) and it has high milage, I can get a much lower milage 99 tranny compared to a 97, and ALOT less of a price, go figure.

Thanks for the help guys!
