I have a 2002 with the 5-speed at 107K miles. The clutch is the original. This car is my daily driver on 35 miles of Interstate, one-way, to work. Lately I have noticed a problem with acceleration in second gear take-offs. Starting from first gear is fine, but when I hit second, the car semi-lurches and hiccups before smoothing out. It herky-jerks a touch at the very onset of third, but quickly mellows. I don't think this is a sign of the clutch slipping and the clutch reservoir is full. Can anyone shed some light on the possible problems?
