I blew the diff on my 99 sunfire gt 5 speed tranny. I am having a hell of a time finding a limited slip for it. The phantom grip looks kind of crappy. I am having the gears cryotreated so they hold up better. Anyone ever use the phantom grip? is it worth the money?

The Team Green LSD is pretty much identical to the Phantom Grip, except for the outrageous cost.
If you want a TRUE lsd... then you have to drop the $1500 or so for the Quiafe, that is, IF you can find one. They're very hard to find.
Look for a Quaife for the Isuzu Impulse IIRC, its the one for our tranny. Quaife UK sells them for about $850 US, which isnt too bad.
Team Green has better springs.
There is also the Engeneered Performance LSD, I know they mke them for the GM trans, not sure about the Isuzu though.
thanks guys, once again everyone here has been very helpful. 1500 dollars is a bit much right now. Maybe in a few months when I put the turbo on and change the clutch, the lsd might fly then.
