My GFs 2.4 tranny lost a shift linkage connector. The one with the black plastic thing and the stud. I dont want to have to buy all new cables so can I just go to the junk yard and get the end link? Does anyone know what I am talking about? It is the lower tranny linkage and the bigger one, I believe you can just pop it out. I think it is dealer only.
Are the 2.4 shift linkage end links the same on a 2.4 as a 2.2?

yes there the same but the 24 has a heat cusion on it and the 22 dosn't. If you dont put a heat cusion on it then it will melt to your exhaust.
yea, cheap heat wrap...... I put some better thermal insulation around mine..... never melted a cable yet..... even with the turbo on there.
