well ive been on the polyurethane tranny mounts for like 5 thousand mile and like 1 thousand miles ago i noticed when i shift (5speed 04 cav) this clunking sound comes from right in front of me in the engine bay. i have gotten everything checked in the suspension including the cv joints and all that and i have tightened everything under the car but it still does it. a while back read a post about someones polyurethane tranny mount bushings wearing out after a little while and making some weird noises so i thought mine might have done the same. anyone have any ideas of what might be happening or any suggestions on what i could do?

oh yeah and sometimes like when i first get in my car sometimes its kinda hard to put it in first so i put it in second and push it into first and it goes in fine but after that it goes into first fine until i get in it the next day, also i have a fidanza short shifter just so u know, thanks!
