well sometimes when i go from 2 to 3 when im on it it will rev up and go back down to normall it just kinda acts slow it still feels like its in gear just not all the way any one no how to fix this or have had this problem i hope im clear enough on the problem

sounds like the clutch is slipping, but let's see if I can clarify (assuming manual the way you say going from 2 to 3):
You let off the clutch pedal in 1st to take off. Mash the gas, run the revs up, and shift to 2nd like normal.
Mash the gas again, car goes forward. Revs climb. Push in clutch, move shifter to 3rd. Release clutch, mash gas. Revs climb, and seem to be climbing faster than the car is gaining speed.
Sound about right?
