how do you adjust the shift cables, put tranny in ,and it wont shift right, when i am on the throttle the shifter seemd to fall in gear better...and ideas?
Adjust them at the shifter assembly. You'll need to remove the centre console for access.

99 z24 cavy 5sp 2.4, yea thats what i was thinking that it would be inside the car
well now come to find out i cant even shift the tranny in to 2'nd by the moving it with my hands under the hood, so it looks like i will have to get another tranny, cuse i think this ones shot also.
