Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had handy a diagram of the shift solenoid/valve body setup in the 4T40E or perhaps any gm documentation on how they operate. lots of rwd autos have aftermarket boxes available which can completely take over the function of the ecm/tcm and give complete control over shift points using switches or even F1-style paddles. Just wanted to see if someone else had already shelled out the dough for a factory manual or if there are any gm techs here with access to materials which would have the information i need to attempt to reproduce one of these units.

I have a 4T40E service manual and training guide... bought it on Ebay, and then promptly dropped the auto and swapped in a 5 speed

I'm not aware of any such products for that transmisison...

i think i have them but i dont have a scanner best i could do is take a picture of them and ill have to check exactly what i have for diagrams
