rebuilding tranny

I have an 04 sunfire with 95000 miles on it and the tranny went out completely. I was wondering if any one can tell me how much it might be for a complete rebuild and if any one can recommend a good shop in the culpeper, VA area.

Thanks Much

Josh

With a car that new I'd expect you to still have warranty. If you were denied by one dealership, take it to another one. Could save you a ton of cash in the end.

for a while that was what alot of places were doing.

I had an extended to 75,000 but all of that is up now. I had never herd of the 100,000 mile warranty at all.

It might be cheaper to grab one from a wrecker after you factor in the labor and parts to rebouild depending on what's wrong. www.car-parts.com works pretty good.
