My Take and a few ?'s on SPEC stage 1 clutch

OK I finally got it in after 3 days of a few hours after work. Finally after paying 17 dollars for a dam axle nut socket, I get to relax.

The clutch is nice and sound so far but I have a few quick questions regarding it.
When I let it out in first it seems like it chatters just a little bit, is this normal for the SPEC stage one? and will it go away after it breaks in?

After the install it moved the engagement point up all the way to the top, like you push it in just a couple inches and it disengages it. Will this change once it breaks in?

So far I love the thing it clamps real nice. Thanks to anyone that can answer my questions.

ya that chattering is normal.

i suggest bleed the clutch lines at/ around 100 miles and it should feel a little better.

but ya, everything you did/ are feeling is normal.

Did you use the stock bolts for the clutch for your spec 1? My new spec clutch seems way to high for the stock bolts to be used? you have the same problem or no?

Yes I used the stock bolts, I dont know why they wouldnt be long enough in your case. Everything stock worked perfectly. The only problem was that the slave cylinder/throwout bearing thingy didnt seat all the way to the transmission. Everything else was fine.

Hmm...that is wierd. My stock bolts seem like there to short. Gotta look things over better today and get ahold of spec. a little bit later.

the bolts are a certain length to prevent fitting the fiction discs in backwards. If the bolts are to short, more than likely its in wrong
