I hit 110 at like 4500-5000rpm..if i only had one more gear it would be smooth sailing..I think that everytime it does that...grrrrrrr..long 10 mile streaches of nothing gives you all kinds of room to play~LOL~sorry i dont go that fast to race..just cause i want it faster for my peice of mind..~missing my old 70 nova~

its not a speed limiter..I ..huthmmm disabled it and ran a diffrent speedometer....but anyways....ok now ill probably get all kinds of @!#$ from everyone about..i dont care..im not a stupid 18 yearold kid~LOL~..just a 28 yearold that acts like one~LOL~

I know the 00-05 Cavalier have a limited which stops it at 108 at 5200RPM's or around there, cause thats when my kicks in. You can run a different speedometer all you want and it won't change a thing. The rev limited/govenor is all programmed into the ECU. Flash the ECU if you want to get rid of it, but it'll destroy your warranty if you have one/.
but if your speed limiter is disabled..which also disables the speedometer ..i had to run a new speedometer

108mph is plenty for me personally.. even with the supercharger. Until i hit my speed limiter in the 1/4 mile its staying... there for i got a lot of work to do before i hit that.
As for your question for 6 spd... it would be kind of sweet just for a nice low highway or cruising gear maybe raise your gas mileage some on the high way? would be kind of kewl to see..
driving the Trans Am doing high way speeds in 6th im only at about 1800rpm

The speed limited does not disable the speedometer.... I told you, the limiter is in the ECU, it has nothing to do with the cluster...
No, at 108 at the VSS signal. The fuel cuts. If you disconnect your cluster, your still gonna get cut off 108. You have to disable the VSS Signal to trick the car. But then you will have no speed indication so I call
. Unless you have all custom computers in your car.
