whats the trans code for a 1988 sunbird gt? mine is gettin kinda worn down, too much racing......neway, should i just get a tranny shop to rebuild it or just try and find another one in better condition? it takes effort getting into first and and i can feel it grab the syncros or gears when i pull into second and fourth slowly, soo mad bout that. PLZ voice ur opinions.

PS how much would a decent shop pay to rebuild one?
