With the Hahn Stage II comming soon I have been planning the exhaust. Downpipe is 2.25". I plan to scrap the cat and go 2.5" piping. I posted before, but now I'm getting down to the wire. I don't want a very loud system either.
2 questions though.
1) I want to run a resonator and found 2 Magnaflows that are 4" rounds, with a 2.5" in/outlet. Should I go with the 18" or 24" length? I am unsure as to the tangible difference between the two lengths ( I do not believe clearance is an issue).
2) I found a nice muffler, Magnaflow Race Series with 4" tip. It has a 3" inlet to the muffler. Is this too big since I'm running all 2.5" piping? The other option was a 2.25", but this would be reducing size at the end of the system and I'm not sure if this would have a large effect.
Any opinions or experiences would be great.
Thanks.

I would just run 3 inch piping from DP back without resonators.. it is not loud at all.. well for me...

Anyone else? Also, what do you do with the O2 sensor from the cat when it is removed?

I don't have a cat on mine, my exhaust from where the cat used to be back is all stock though, and its really not any/much louder than stock.
Weld a bung for the sensor back in, and put the sensor there, just no cat, I haven't gotten a CEL from it yet.
