Lol sorry could't resist the pun, anyway, Ive been looking around for a good built head for awhile and was about to go with the JBP, until they jacked the price up by nearly 200 bones, now i was iffy about spending 1700 on it, but 2g's? forget it, i know i can pull one and build it for cheaper, including flow bench costs. Ok well pretty sure, anyway 2k seems steep, so anyone know of any other companies that can build a good head?
Check out JTuners.com for the ported head. They offer a CNC ported head for $550. The valves will run you $100 from carcustoms.net. Valve guides, rockers, springs, retainers, locks, seals, etc, can all be sourced for ~$500.

What you can do is contact Patriot Performance, they offer a CNC Ported (and flow bench tested) cylinder head for the 2200 motor. You can buy the rest of the valvetrain parts from
www.jbodyperformance.com.
