. Although I don’t think the FMU looks correct. I think i need to order the One Way Check Valve. But I am not sure so I am asking you guys. I have not really seen it on the other ecotecs so that is why I ask. Can you take a look? And look over what I have done and tell me if I am missing anything big.

anything else you think? Also the check valve just fits right over that thing...
all the check valves are $20 but the one on Cartech.net is only $10... Do you think i should just buy it from them? And just to make sure... to set the atmaspher pressure i just pull off the vac hose on the FMU and then connect it when it runs right at ideal. THANKS!
i dont have a check valve on mine and it works fine (as we all know
)
hit me up on AIM if you need help
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

I would personally get a better BOV than the Bosche one.

You can get a check valve from a pet stor fore like $2 in the aquarium section. You need one on there otherwise you will have a vac leak and mess up your idle. You can run without one if you fmu is ajusted as high as possible. Youll need a 1 inch piece of vac line to connect the nipple to the check valve. Put the check valve so the fmu can blow air out and not suck in.
I think your confused on how to set your fmu. First unscrew the center adjustment pretty far out, not all the way. Leave the vac line attached and your car shoud idle just fine. Youll need a fuel pressure gauge hooked up for the next step. Unhook the vac line and see what your fuel pressure jumps to. It probally wont do anything because the center adjustment is all the way out. Slowly screw the center adjustment until your fuel pressure raises 10-15 psi. Reattach the vac line and fuel pressure should drop to normal. Check it a couple times by connecting and disconnecting the vac line. You can set it for whatever gives you a good tune but a 10 psi jump was good for me so its decent starting point. Then use the adjustment on the side to adjust fuel pressure under boost. Screw in = richer under boost, screw out =leaner under boost.
i ttalkrd to bill hahn at nopi he told me the current turbo kit is only for five speeds do to the torque on the auto trans would be toomuch so how did you arrange this custom kit im interested.
