Well I was having problems with the car when I was Dynoing it, but I manged to put down 160hp 187lbs on 6 psi.

thats about right ...............
I put down 190whp at 7 psi with a HOLE BUNCH of extra bolt ons...
upped it to 11psi and WOOT 230whp
oh btw... KEN UR AWESOME ...... U made me go and buy a "REAL" greddy type s off of ebay

now that I've seen it ......
How is the GREDDY TYPE S hooked up ????
with both lines ??? or with just the vac line ?????
because from the sound of things it seemed to be delayed quite a bit from when you shifted...................................... I know how to adjust them and what not ... worked with them before.......... so can you just let me know how it is connected .... thanks
oh and your the second silver 2200 turbo I've seen ..... ONLY THE SECOND..... I'm the only one in Ontario, Canada ..... as far as I know .... with a 2200 turbocharged.

I noticed that too, there was quite a bit of a delay from when you shifted.
You know what I watched the videos and noticed that too. I have no idea why it sounds delayed in the vids. Because the sound isn't delayed when I am driving it. Maybe its because we filmed it behind a huge building and it was echoing weird. I will try to get more vids in the day time for you guys.
As far as the hooking up the BOV I used the top Vac port only, the bottom one it nothing more than a bleed port.
UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM actually .........
the other one .... if hooked up to the boost source between your compressor and the wastegate......................... it helps the spring hold the BOV shut with the boost pressure that your charge pipes are seeing so no leaks can happen .............
haha I can't believe you didn't know that .... COME ON
it changes the sound too .................. me and my friend hooked up the second port after to the boost source and the bov got so much louder....

Really?? I cant believe i didn't know that either.
It is such a small port tho. The instructions where in Japanese so I couldn't read them. LOL Wow I am going to go try this right now. I will let you know how it goes.

Well I just went and hooked it up that way and heres the results.
Its a little louder now, and the Pssssshhhhh sounds shorter and a little quicker, like psssssshhhtttt. The one thing I did notice the most is how much faster my turbo seems to recover boost a bit faster after shifting really quick "like in race conditions"

i bet you had a SMALLLLLLL little leak from the bov seat and now with the help of the boost pressure it's held shut fully thus creating no more leak and less lag. turbo spools nicer as a result !

The Greddy type - s is a great BOV if you know how to tune it correctly........ I've done plenty of research on the BOV of my choice..... it was between the HKS SSQV or the greddy unit..... I have ultimately decided based on function and rep.... and with kens demo WITHOUT the little extra hook up.... am going to go with the greddy.

Hey now I admit I was wrong. lol
You will be happy with the Greddy Bov. Its smaller in size, so its easier to fit under the hood, and its reliable with good quality.
Keep your eye on this thread I will try to get some day videos for you
