yup. they are good. The Greddy Type S is loud and efficient. Personally I choose to go with the first gen DSM BOV. Cheap, loud, and efficient. You can get them for $30 or less.

When I watched one of your videos, I thought your BOV sounded like the Type-S...guess I was right.

I used to have an RFL but I switched to an HKS SSQV...... both sounded great but the HKS holds pressure between shifts... good thing to have.

I want to get the HKS SSQV SOOOOOOOOOO BAD !!!!!!!!!! IT sounds so amazing.... and because the valve is held closed with intake manifold pressure..... it's even better..... NO LEAKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is your BOV SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO far away from your Throttle Body.... from the looks of things you put it on the HOT SIDE ? of your intercooler...... WOW..... is anyone else seeing what I am ??? is that good ?????

as long and the BOV is somewhere between the turbo and throttle body, you'll be fine. there are pros and cons to going closer to the turbo or closer to the TB, but its mostly all based on personal preference and/or where it fits best.

The HKS SSQV I am using for my build is going directly before the intercooler, on the hot side.

just wondeirng what is louder the type s or the type rs? cuz theres a gsx here in my home town with the type rs and it sounds really loud but i know that it sounds different on all cars, and i noticed the type rs is a little cheaper than the type s and it looks a little better

I'm not sure but I know what the type-s sounds like and I think it sounds probably better than any BOV on the market.

My Vortech Maxflow BOV isn't as loud as John H's (going off his vid/sound clip) and doesn't have a high pitched whistle but it sounds real nice when it goes off. Just my 2 cents.

Blown.
