turbo set-up's

people that have a turbo can you please help me out. i have got a 99 z24 for a project most likely its going to be turboed and i wanted to know if its passable to get in to the mid 13's with an auto if so how? can you post what u have as a set up like what kinda pistons,is the block bore/decked ect. i was thinking also to using nitrous but i don't want the damn thing to blow up after i put all this money in to it.

Larry, keep an eye out for me. Check my registry for my current modifications plus I plan on turboing in the 7-8 PSI range on a T3/T4 Turbo (intercooled of course) and a stock 4T40E transmission.

just a question the 4 speed tranny for a eco is the same tranny for a 2.4 ?

Yes, all the 4-speeds on the 3rd gens are the 4T40E transmissions and are exactly the same.

Internally yes, but not exactly the same You're 4T40E won't bolt up to my 2.4, different bell housings.
