What are you guys running as far as injector size and tuned base fuel pressure. Also, what do you all have your atmospheric setting at on the Cartech FMU?
The reason I'm asking is: When I first drive my car, it runs and boosts just fine. As soon as I hit the highway to drive to work (8-10 miles) and turn off at the exit, the car cuts out when in boost. I just can't seem to get the Cartech tuned right. Is it possible that my fuel pressure changes when I am driving at any given speed for a while? This doesn't seem right though since the FPR works mechanically.
I only have a narrowband A/F gauge. I should still be able to tell when I'm "in the ballpark" of it running correctly. Like I said, when the car is first started and warmed up for 10 minutes or so (in cold weather), it has power like a mother! But after driving it a while, it cuts out.
If anyone in the local area (I'm in Ohio) has a wideband I can use for like 10 minutes or so to tune, I'll pay them money. I just don't have the extra cash for a full wideband setup right now.
Well,if your running 35# injectors and the fmu, your probably running too rich. When i got my car dynoed,my car was runnig pig rich with just my brown top injectors and no fmu.I had my base pressure turned down to like 30psi,and it still ran fat as hell.I leaned it out with my s-afc.The only way to really know is to get the car dynoed or get a wideband. And throw that narrow band gauge out,all it does is give off a light show.
