Run an open dump and a recirculating vlave..........
You'll hear no PUFFFFFFFTTTTTTT bov noise but you'll hear the turbo spinning away! Makes that high pitched whistle like constantly. Sounds like an 18wheeler, just not as loud!

can you explain that? im not sure im totally following you on that one.
and neto PR, you are definitely looking for the HKS SSQV bov. it has this pretty intense whistle, and supposedly, performance with staying in boost is a bit better, it doesnt allow ALL the boost pressure to leave at once, in case youre about to hammer on the gas again after a shift.
i love my greddy type S. its a really hi pitched whistle.

I think im going with that one because I love how it sounds really..... The HKS sounds awesome too.... but the Greddy is cheaper...... Look at the WRX video with the type S in www.blowoffvalves.com , its awesome.....

Well you replace the bov with what some call a recirculating valve or bypass valve. It doesn't blow off it just holds that pressure in there and keeps the boost up from what I've heard and seen. We use two of them on my good friends Audi S4tt. He gets them straight from audi (any dealership and they are universal) and they eliminate the bov and the sounds with them. Instead you can hear the turbo spooling up all the time and it makes a pretty sick whistle like an 18wheeler. And the other thing I said was to run an open dump pipe. I'm sure you know what that means.
