well some background info, I know myself and many others have been searching for a CORRECT length plug, copper and that was the right reach and length, and many of us turbo, sc or nitrous ecotecs went with the Autolite 103's which are almost 1/2 inch shorter then the NGK 4306 plugs which rodimus found to be the correct size and heat range plug for us ecotec people. I was running the 103's (3 sets, all different gap) for 6 months or so and still suffered from that mysterious P0300 code for no reason and a really bad lope, why? I dont know either, we thought it was my CPS sensor freaked from my cams. So I put these new plugs in today, the NGK 4306 or LZTR5A-13 and noticed they are 1/2 inch longer on the thread side then the 103's, I was worried but I put them in after consulting my roomate, NuStyle (auto tech) and he said he wasnt sure about it, so we did anyway, I remember the stock plug being VERY long. So we unhooked the ICM cranked it for a split second 3 or 4 times listening for anything then hooked it back up and turned it on, started up great let it idle, no lope anymore which I was like, ahhh just warming up, so we took it out went through 4th gear full throttle and 10 psi, almost 11, and the car SOUNDED better, FELT Stronger and was noticabley faster. We parked it and sat in it for 5 minutes... waiting for the lope... NEVER came, so the lope is gone. I am VERY impressed and THANK Rodimus alot, these plugs cleared all my ignition problems up for now.
I will update when I get a couple hundred miles on them.

i believe you can get them at any auto parts store that has NGK plugs most likely a special order item they will prob not have these in stock

A local place here in Arizona sells NGK and stocks pretty much all of them.
I might go check it out.
I am still running autolite 103's

i will try them also -- I have been using 4177
word of caution to those that are thinking about switching to these, if you have been using a plug that is noticeably shorter than stock for an extended period of time you need to be careful to try to clean the lower threads as much as possible otherwise you could damage the head or plug

yeah when I was screwing these in it got rough at a point, I ahd tot ake them back out cuz I was an idiot and forgot to gap them and noticed soot in the higher threads clsoer to the electrode

Good point i wouldn't have thought of that
umm.... what psi are these good for. i am going to install a turbo when i get all the parts.
well they are made for the 2.4 turbo motor off the crusier and srt and those hit 15+ stock

i meant to say what range. will they be ok at like 3 psi. or are they the wrong temp for that
im running them on 15-16PSI and have been for approximately 1.5-2 months and so far so good. these didnt cure my random misfire on my 1/4 mile passes though. but other than that they are awesome. gas mileage increased 5MPG with a proper sized plug.
i did have one issue with them but i wont post that up until someone else has an issue with them.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.
