Is everyone replacing the stock head gasket when running turbo on their 2200's? I'd think so but wasn't sure...I've heard some "bad" things about copper so I'm guessing metal is the way to go. Thanks for any input.

its actually stainless steel.
I believe jtuners has a head and block over at cometic right now and is getting an HG designed.
I'm waiting on an email today from Travis regarding the MLS HG's for the 95-97 2.2's
lol screw the 95-97 2.2. time to move on to the 2200. it takes priority lol

Does anyone have any problems blowing HG's cause it sounds to me like this stainless steel HG for the 2200 is just a concept at this point. I keep reading about people developing HG's but no one really ever goes into detail about em. Turbo guys...are you bolting up the stock HG? I'm starting with 6-8psi but yeah I can see myself runnin 20 some cause you're not hardcore unless you live hardcore lol. Thanks for the help guys.

You can already buy copper gaskets, that's what people have been using. There aren't many people running enough boost to necessitate a new gasket though.
My SCE gasket is part#92406...they're only like $80,...but you have to have the head or block o-ringed (must come out of the car), and the other surface
should get a receiving groove.

Yea, one reason I don't wanna do copper. I'm still waiting on MLS from Cometic. Jtuners I looooooooooooooove you!
