Hot wiring fuel pump... the difficult way.

This is an 85 skyhawk, I figure the location for the rear defrost relay would be the same on all the jbodys of that year.

Well I noticed that the rear window defrost is already a heavy gauge relay switched bat voltage source. Since I've never used the rear defrost I figure I could use this as a hot wire kit type of thing. This way I could replace the power source wire to the fuel pump with a lead straight off the rear defrost. This worked great, got 14.5v at pump(got a crappy 8.5 before), except for the 10min or so timer on the rear defrost relay shuts off. Anyway I like this setup and would like to keep it. Anyone know of a way to remove the timer option on the factory rear defrost to a constant "on"? I know there is a push to rest type fuse under the dash and probably a relay somewhere in the car. Could someone tell me where that is?

Any help or ideas would be appreciated...

Thanks in advance.
