Hey guys,
well, theres the instructions on the website for the gtp s/c, but i know ours is a bit diff..(am i wrong?) . How does the hub go on? Does it go on first? Then press the pulley over it? or just install it together?

i used a power stearing puller.... then heated the hub with a tourch.. and slaped it on...

how does that work? I've never used one, but looking at them (power steering puller), it seems odd.

If your charger is somewhat new, use the PS puller to pull off the old pulley. There's a lip on the pulley at the end of the shaft. Here's what one did to my pulley with ~13,000 miles on it:
See how the lip is bent upward? Yeah, that's what happens when the pulley is somewhat rusted onto the shaft.
If you have a s/c with some mileage on it, get a 3 jaw pulley puller and use that instead. It needs to be pretty beefy too. Autozone has a really big one that works great.
After that, heat up the new hub for about 10 minutes using a blowtorch. Slip it on the shaft quickly because you literally have maybe 1 second to put it in place. DO NOT BANG ON THE END OF THE HUB WITH A HAMMER!!! This will mushroom the lip of the hub and you will never be able to get a pulley onto it.

awsome Mr.Pute! I just picked one up and see how its used. I also picked up a 3 jaw puller, but wouldn't that bend it from the other side too? if its rusted on.>? Anyhow, have both, so no worries

I removed mine with a 3 jaw and used a powersteering pulley installer to put the hub on.
