help leaning out!!

28 psi of fuel pressure at idle
-40% on the safc at idle
I am running 9 psi
Mods are in my sig.

Driving today i was trying to tune my car via safc and fmu using my wideband. the second my car hits 5 grand it starts leaning out into the 13's and could be further. These are 4th gear pulls on the highway. the safc is maxxed at +50% from 5-7k rpms and i am quickly running out of room on the fmu. Gas filter is brand new.

my opinions:
1) Fuel pump could be going bad
2) I only had lil more then 1/4 tank when doing these pulls, maybe i was to low on gas?

Last problem:

Car randomly stalls when i come to a stop. i would say 4/5 times its ok but it likes to stall. I have no vacuum leaks and the iac sensor is brand new in the TB. Any opinions?

Thanks!

SAFC = In-effective at adding fuel when in boost. It works by adjusting the map sensor signal, well at +5v the MAP sensor is maxxed out at 1 bar, and its adding all the fuel that its going to add.

Stalling is due to being too rich at idle.

so i am to rich at -40 and 28 psi of fuel pressure? And if its in effective when in boost then is their even a point in tuning high throttle? cuz obviously ur in boost at high unless the turboed hasn't spooled yet..

ok well im not turboed but i am supercharged and running about 10psi with my 2.6" pulley and alcohol injection. I am also running the 370cc injectors and with my injectors im running 25psi at idle and -32% on the SAFC at 1000rpms, also on the throttle point im set at 35 for lo and 75 for hi. The car starts up and idles perfect, i do experience the stalling once in a great while but not regularly, its usually after i beat on the car for a few runs. As for leaning out im not sure, my setup is a vortech 4:1 fmu, idle pressure set at 25psi and im still rich under boost. Im taking out anywhere from 20-32% of the fuel and im getting A/F ratios like 10.7ish. I cant remember exactly off the top of my head but i believe at 5000 rpms im taking out 25% and then at 6400 15%. I havent even touched the hi throttle settings as of yet because quite honestly i have no idea what it does or is supposed to do, please fill me in on this, ive done some research but havent found anything that tells me what how the hi and lo are different.

my throttle points are like identical to urs. although i am turbo my flow rates of my turbo are far greater then ur charger i would think. Mine usually stalls are a beating to so maybe i will lean it out even more (seems impossible). i am gonna try and scavenge some money today and see if its because of the low tank. it seemed to get worse as the tank went down. If not i am really guessing its the fuel pump going bad.

From what i know about the safc low throttle is tuned anything below ur low throttle point. Hi throttle is anything about ur hi throttle point, and the afc has a formula for inbetween. That why i don't quite understand why not tuning ur high throttle will work on making the car more rich.

Your fuel pump might be going out. Are you able to watch the fuel pressure while driving?

When my stock fuel pump was going out, I was also running a inline fuel pump. When I would turn off the inline fuel pump, the fuel pressure would go from 34psi to about 15psi. Sometimes the intank pump would be able to take the pressure back up to 30ish psi before the car would die. Other times, the fuel pressure would drop to around 15psi, and the car would die.

i am just gonna lean the @!#$ out of it at idle and see if it still wants to stall. i get readings between 13.9 and 15.0 at idle. and for fuel pressure, its on the fuel rail. Tonite or tomorrow i am gonna fill it up and try tuning again. if it still leans out its gotta be the pump.

oh and mods are in registry, not sig lol
