haha Raven isnt even fair Although that is a sick car. I have no idea who has the fastest supercharged car, i ran my car sat however and im still in need of tuning, i havent hooked up my plx wideband yet and my stock clutch was slipping in every gear, but i managed a 13.63@103mph, as you can tell by the mph the car can go faster, i also pulled a terrible 2.3 60ft. My car is a 99 z24 2.4, pnp head, cams, header, exhaust, tb, etc. im also running the 2.6" pulley and the cooling mist alky injection, im getting about 10.5psi. Next season i will be running the spec stage 3 clutch and also a 35 shot of nitrous.

i havent had the balls to run the 35 shot as of yet, im going to be building my block this winter, eagle rods, 8:5:1 forged pistons, 2.3 oil pump system, removed balance shaft etc. then ill throw down the nitrous at the track and see if hopefully with some decent tires i can hit the 12's. I'm adding the 2.5" pulley hopefully this week or as soon as it gets to me. Im in need of some more tuning, you can feel a bog in the car in the 3rd gear and my a/f im sure is rich and looking like a roller coaster. So far im very satisfied with my setup, my goal was to make the car a daily driven 13 sec car with no drivability issues, so far so good, now im gonna shoot for the same thing but hopefully to hit 12's. I wish i dint have to use nitrous to do it, because i do think its a bit cheap but oh well a 12 sec car is a 12 sec car. I really just hate refilling my tank, i used a 75 shot on the car for the past year and it just sucks when you run out. Anyways needless to say i love my charger

i believe it was lowpro?? wasnt it like a 13.2 or something? GM sc with a 70 dry shot on a stock LD9?

Re: To ALL supercharged guys!!

it's going to take a second power adder on top of the GM blower to make really serious power as there really isn't a way to get heavy heavy boost out of that blower.

thanks for the compliments man, i agree with you taetsch, a well tuned in car with the gm s/c and the small pulley is very capable of making great power. Also think about if you actually build your engine first and get some very decent hp numbers n/a then add the gm s/c with the 2.5" pulley. The biggest issue for me and im sure most guys is tuning it, being that i have a 99 im tuning via FMU, wideband, and Apexi SAFC2, this isnt the most efficient way to tune at all, but it can be done, i think without nitrous when the car is well tuned, and the new clutch is in i should be able to see low 13's and in my opinion thats some pretty serious hp.

damn jimmy' nice times. i am impressed.

i too have everything you do minus the ported head and smaller pulley. I have the spec flywheel though and ACT clutch, so it revs up real fast.

what mixture u running with that coolinmist set up? i am running a 50/50 mix. IT hauls a$$ now.

that coolingmist setup is interesting. of course, so is alky injection in general.

i might run a small shot of the n2o on my next motor once it's built and running good... because 2 power adders is just hot.

If your building your motor for the gm s/c why would you go such low compression, you won't be running much more than 10lbs. i would be running atleast a 9.5:1compression, there is no need to go as low as 8.5 IMO. but so far you got some good numbers out of it good job

thanks jake, i was pretty impressed with my times as well, but i only got one good one in with the clutch, the second run the clutch was hot from slipping the first run and it was really bad so i only pulled a 14.1, i cant remember what the mph was at the moment. The spec stage 3 clutch and a lightened flywheel will be going in this winter, im just trying to get through this car season on the stocky, the cars coming off the road the end of october and here in NY ill have too much time to do my winter projects. Anyways though im running my alcohol in jection setup as follows. I have the psi activation switch set at 4psi, i am not running an on/off switch i have it wired so the pump and injection works automatically whenever it hits the 4psi. I tapped my windshield washer reservoir and am using that as my tank, that beast holds exactly one gallon. I'm working on adding some sort of a light system to warn me when the mixture gets below 1/4 tank or so but havent figured it out yet. As for my mix i havent tried much, im simply running a 50/50 mix of 100%denatured alcohol and water, it seems to keep my temps really low, i havent really noticed the dreaded heat soak yet. You can by the denatured alcohol at your local home depot for about $10, hope that helps you out guys

Just an idea on a low level indicator, RV's use that type of system for the different tanks. Water and waste. Might be able to find something easy that way.

Yea i agree, this winter when i put all my parts in my engine my compression is staying the same as stock... Turbos i can see dropping the compression but not with the GM s/c'er...
As for needing two power adders to make power from the GM s/c... i think thats wrong.. Alcohol isn't a power adder... its the "poor mans inter cooler" or in this case the only way to cool the charge and it doesn't actually "add" power...and with it and 10psi i don't think there is any other Supercharger out there that can make that psi (for right now any way) i know the RSM is capable of MUCH more but there aren't the parts/pulleys to get to 10psi as far as i know.

i like my trunk mounted tank/pump. You really dont use that much fluid . SO it is safe to say every other full tank check it , chances are you wont need to add any.

Nice times you got there jimmyc99z24.What part of ny are you from?I should be putting my blower back on within the next couple of weeks.I have to install my act clutch and fidanza lightweight flywheel first.I also have to replace my rear main seal because i think its leaking oil. Then im gonna hit the dyno when it gets cool out.A couple of months ago it put down 181 hp @6psi in 95 degree weather and a stretched out belt.I usually see 8-9 psi on cool days,so im hoping for atleast 220 at the wheels.Im also thinking about getting that cooling mist injection. If i can go a month with the s/c without breaking something i might get it.

im in lower NY, Elmira/Corning NY to be exact. You guys are right i dont need to go lower compression, however you can pretty much garantee no detonation if you do go lower, i will most likely stay stock though for now and just get the forged rods and do the oil system upgrades. Im currently still trying to get my a/f tuned in, i have a few high and low spots right now but im not really getting any detonation as far as i can tell. Does anyone know what a good knock count is on our cars? With my SAFC2 im seeing like 1-3 but i have no idea what this should be as i havent been able to find any info on it as of yet.
