Manifold?
Saturday, September 03, 2005 8:21 PM
Local customer brought this manifold to me... its apperantly the "ebay" brand of manifolds. I guess its true you get what you pay for.

I took a pic of them next to each other with my cell phone jus to give you guys an idea of the difference.... first, its constructed with the smaller tubing which is seriously 50 cents cheaper than using larger, higher flowing tube. Second the flange is all ghetto... looks like it was cut with a jig saw or something... in anycase i guess it works which was a plus. The t3 flange however was pretty messed up... the holes were to small for the turbo bolts to even fit through! I guess we'll see how it holds up. Please remember to practice safe sex people.

Never had a problem with his manifolds, and he's a great guy. By the way, you should be using 3/8" bolts...

Yeah...but I bet they ship the manifold in less than 6 months.

This coming from a person who made an intake manifold spacer flange wrong and never tried to fix the problem. You of all people should know that a monkey could run a company better then you. I think you are just worried that even their "ghetto" manifold will out sell you since they at least deliver a product.

Theres still people out there looking for refunds or replacements of parts, or parts in general that they never got. I am one of them. Do a search and you will find more.

I'm neutral on this. I don't like Brian's previous business practices... however if things change things change. I've heard great things about the ebay seller as well. When it comes time for me to purchase the manifold for my new motor, I'll go with whoever has the best price vs credibility at the time.
