GM Reflash done, c24na is now Boosted.

Wow.. all I can say is i got a lame ass gm tech. He called the tech line and told them i had a 2k1 z24 in a 95 2.2l shell and they told him they wouldn't give the vic number for the s/c reflash. So as he dicked around, i called from his phone, used his name (he gave me the employee number) and managed to get the vci number. Although, there is a 'case number' b/c they were like, " u just called, and we can't give it to u". I said that it was a mistake, that was the owners previous car, not his new one. Once i got the vci number, and the cpu showed a new one (gm tech cpu), i was like see ya sucker. lol.

Anyhow, got reflash done. Still had to pay 1hr of labour, even tho i did the call. grr... but was happy to just get it done.

Ran two 14.70's @ 95.2 & 95.54 mph at the track tonight w/ 2.3 60fts. (Previous with NA setup were 15.1 &15.2s consistantly @92.xxmph) Alought my engine light flashes when i hit the rev limiter in 3rd and then goes away. Anybody have that similar problem? Also did a 14.9 w 2.5 60ft.. bogged that one but still good with slow off the line. The best run i had, the time machine got the cars wrong, and so it didnt show up. Destroyed the Saturn s/c Ion/redline? that usually pulled on me in 3rd, i walked on him. He usually got 14.9-15.1at the track.

So ya.. Pretty happy. So anybody got any tricks to get boost in 1st gear? I don' t think i hit any. 2.7" pulley is what im' going to do next. Another 1-3 psi would be perfect!

no, it was good after reflash..but it did run funny for a bit at the track after 2 runs. Would stall out in neutral. BUt that seems to have gone away.. weird?

i also had to pay an hour of labor, but the guy i got was the forman (who was a pita the first time i met him) and he was really cool and did everything for me and only charged me for a 1/2 hour

i'd go to the track, but w/ gas prices now, HA!

do something about your launch and you prolly got a 13 sec car. maybe get a LSD of some sort and just practice. prolly control arm bushings too. if you can take 4 sec off your 60 then it should take 8 sec off your 1/4. good luck! sounds fun

Sven you totally quarterloafed your computer..

while i was sitting in the servic edrive my idle was going up and down between 600-1000 , it sounded kinda cool

but when i tried to rev the motor after the reflash it was slower than the 3cyl metro , LOL
