hey i was just wondering who all out there has a turbo set up for any ecotec motor and as to where they bought the kit from or if it was a custom install and how hard each kit was to install. Any major problems or something that needed to be adjusted even tho the kit says it is a direct bolt on. so if you could list it like this it would help me to deside which kit to go with and which one for everyone is working best and sorry ahead of time if this is a re-post
year of car
type of car ie cavalier, sunfire, grandam, ect
which kit and from what website/ if it was a custom set up where parts were bought( you dont have to list them all just the main parts turbo, exhuast manifold wastgate ect
problems with install
overall thoughts and comments on product.

Hahn Stage 2 kit
simple install
good kit
needs fuel management
03 Cav, HAHN Stage 2, love it, install is easy, tuning isn't bad, great kit the way it is for 9psi. You will be hard pressed to find a more comphrensive and easy kit to deal with.
alright thanks guys. im sure theres more than just a few of the ecotec's turboed. where is everyone lol. keep them coming, so far it looks like the haun stage 2 is what to go with.
If your incapable of making your own I would highly recommend the Hahn stage 2, Installs easy and fairly quick if you have a clue what your doing.

its not that i cant do my own i just would have trouble with the piping and bending it i would assume a local muffler shop could do that and as for hosing and wiring that wouldnt be a problem considering thats all my job consists of at work is reading a schematic. (advanced wiring diagram) i just would need help finding the parts i need so that they are compatible and will work.
i guess theres no one left out there that has a turbo for an eco. hmmm surely theres more
there's quite a few turbo eco's running around. Problem is your post subject does little to attract them to this thread. Do a little search and see the other millions of posts out there on this very subject. Also look up the boosted Jbodies list in this forum. There's something like 200 or more boosted cavs, all means, all years, and all model engines.
hahn stage 2
whats the price of there kit and is it a complete kit and does it include inter-cooler. every time i call them there either closed or i wait 20 min on the phone for someone and then hang up cuz i dont have that much time to sit and wait for someone to come to the phone thanks
patience is a virtue.

Cavalier LS
Custom kit. Bought ALOT off ebay and summit. Turbo was bought used from a junkyard off ebay, rebuilt kit off ebay, manifold (ebay), internal wastegate assembly (ebay), BOV (ebay), Adj. FMU (someone off the .org), injectors (Ebay), All braided lines and charge pipes From summit.
No problem with the install at all....took us about 14 hours at my brothers shop. Only dislikes was the problem with the GMSC injectors (switched to ford red tops). And that im still not intercooled =( Will be moving up to 42lbs (yellow tops or are they green ??) and hopefully intercooled and 7 PSI instead of 5.
But i just got a new 05 ram for a work truck and all that might be post poned for a while =(
sounds like everything worked out for ya then. do you have an estimate of how much you spent for everything so i can get a ballpark figure as to what im looking at from a custom install to a kit. thanks
I dont remeber and i also didnt keep track, which i wish i would have just for this reason only. If i would to guess i would say prob, around $1,200.00. It would prob only take me around $300.00-$350.00 ish to intercooler it ($150ish for intercooler and $150ish for piping).
alright thanks any suggestion as where to get parts or something you had to upgrade or change later on after install. i dont wanna have to replace something later on if at all possible just cuz it was cheaper than the other if that makes since
