I have a cousin that got me this td04hl-15g turbo .
I did some reading and it is for a 2.3l volvo and would put up about 225
it would go on 2.4l cavalier
would this be a good beginers project or ebay it
i would like to know your opinion

no. the td04 turbos are tiny, all of them. Even the TD05 14b turbos are still almost too small to run even 6 psi on a 2.2 OHV. And you have a 2.4 which flows more CFM. You are looking for a turbo with about a .51 compressor / .48 exhaust.

Go with something like a T3 .48 .50 or .60 or a TDO6 16G will work well also, thats what i just picked up for my 2200 turbo build.
