Im getting o2 sensor high voltage for sensor 1. It only did it this morning and now its not doing it anymore. The gauge stayed at rich for about 2 mins then it started working again. Let me guess, I need a heated o2 sensor. The sensor is mounted horizontally about 4 inches from the turbo. Tell me guys whats going on here

While I won't disagree with Stevefire, because an a/f gauge using the stock o2 sensor is horribly unprecise...
Did you plug/unplug any wires to the gauge while the car was on? It will trip that code if you do.

sorry, I should explain why I say this.
I had an Autometer A/F gauge f*ck up my o2 sensor... honestly.
as soon as you d/c the a/f gauge the car drives like normal again.

Then either the gauge was bad, or you hooked it up wrong.
I've hooked up about 4 Autometer Air/Fuel gauges, 3 of them on J-Bodies. Whether the gauge was bad, or you hooked it up wrong, doesn't make them ALL bad. Narrow Band Air/Fuel gauges are VERY good for telling if you're running Rich, or Lean. Nowhere in between.
