Yeah,i removed my supercharger the other day.The car hasnt been running right lately,so i said screw it and i removed it.I have an oil leak which im pretty sure is the main seal. The car stalls out on me constantly when i come to a stop or if i rev it up in neutral.Ive been messing with the idle screw and the tps on the t.b because the volatge on the sensors have been out of whack.Maybe the t.b was bored out wrong?I dont know.I found a stock throttle body on ebay for cheap,so im gonna throw it on and see if it runs any better. Also ive been blowing alot of oil out of my breather filter,so i might have bad rings.Compression test was good,200 per cylinder. But i have to do a leak down test to tell me how good the piston rings are sealing.I dont know what im gonna do with this car.I might just put it back to stock and sell everything,or fix it.Everytime i fix something on the car, something else goes wrong and im getting sick of fixing things all of the time. Its not fun anymore.

thats the joys of boosting a car... unless it was born with boost (came with a turbo or super from the factory) it is sooo hard on the car.
Yea i have lots of oil coming out of my crank case breather to. Must be blow by or something gonna do a compression soon times. Take off your oil cap and see how much presher is blowing out of it if you feel alot of air blowin out then its more then luckly blow by
I been wondering when you were going to say F' it and rip all that stuff off. You are right you have had nothing but problems after problems.
Good luck though. I give you credit for dealing with all the issues for as long as you have.
You could always find a junkyard motor and drop it in..... Then you dont have to worry about anything. IF the motor you get is messed up take it back and get another till you get one that is good. (Assuming you have the resources to pull the engine multiple times, and the time to do so)
I just hate to see people come so far with a car and then one day say "F' it" and give up.

My next car will come boosted from the factory.Im not messing with forced induction on an n/a car again.Theres too many headaches getting it to run perfect.I like the cobalt ss,but i dont want another 5 year loan on a car.I did it with this car,and it sucked. Its nice not having to make any car payments.Im not giving up on this car yet.If i can fix the idle problem and the oil issue,i will probably put it back on.I bought a new gator back belt and a screw in iat sensor w/ a weld in bung to put in the charge pipe.Ive had this car for 7 years, its tough to get rid of it after all the work you put into it.And a junk yard motor is out of the question.I rebuilt this motor 2 summers ago after spinning a bearing. And a month before that,i blew my transmission. The only good thing about this is that my car is nice and quiet now without the s/c.When i first started it,i wasnt sure the car was running because i was so used to hearing the whining.Sometimes the whistling does get annoying.

how often did you change the oil on your car?

I took mine off too, so boring running on the freeway now, but I need money for school.
