Is anyone running 15psi or above on the oem design head gasket?? I got mine from napa so its victor-reinz but i was planning on running around 17psi of boost, but someone said the oem design wont take anymore than 15psi. Is that true. If I need a stronger one where can I get one? Otherwise let me know if there are guys running above 15 everyday on oem design.

if the gasket doesn't give something else will. the stock engine can't handle that much boost

Mike Karas was using the stock headgasket with ARP headstuds for a while when he was running 20psi.

Yeah, I don't believe there is a problem running any amount of boost on the stock head gasket, the problem with the gasket comes in when the head bolts stretch and the head flexes.
